On November 16, the project team organised an introductory workshop designed for the Law Enforcement Authorities. Representatives from 6 EU countries from the police departments, agencies and ministries of interior joined the workshop. During the 90-minute session, they discussed the tools being developed by the VIGILANT team and explored the possibility of joining the Community of Early Adopters.
An online workshop, organized by TCD, UCD, and GLOBSEC on November 16, involved several law enforcement authorities interested in or in the process of joining the Community of Early Adopters. The workshop aimed to introduce the tools and services that VIGILANT can provide, updating attendees on the project's progress over the year.
During the engaging 90-minute discussion, key VIGILANT features were presented by Eva Power (Project Manager), Brendan Spillane (Research Coordinator), and Oisin Carroll (Technical Coordinator). Participants had the opportunity to ask questions about the technical features of the tools and the special access the Community of Early Adopters receives to both the tools and the broader community of experts and police authorities involved in VIGILANT.
More events for the law enforcement authorities will be organised in January, March and May of 2024. Stay tuned for more by singing up to our newsletter here!
