VIGILANT was represented at a symposium of experts on the topic of “AI, Disinformation, Coordination: Lessons from Europe’s 2024 Elections in Countering Influence Operations" organised by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems. GLOBSEC's Katarina Klingova presented the VIGILANT as platform that can help law enforcement authorities across Europe preserve electoral integrity, safety and processes.
"The elections throughout 2024 have demonstrated that the wide spread of generative AI has speeded up the production and amplification of disinformation, either through inauthentic behaviour, or generation of deepfakes, or other types of artificial content.
